Job Title:  Systems Analyst

The Systems Analyst is responsible for the installation, implementation, maintenance, and execution of upgrades and installs for new or current application products of Infor XA. In addition, this position is responsible for internal and external data that is attached to the Infor XA product. The Systems Analyst will also need to do light programming in RPG / RPGLE / CLP. This position reports to the Senior Director of IT.

Responsibilities - (Responsible activities)

• Ensure AS400 and Infor XA ERP are functioning properly to carry out business functions by monitoring system activity to ensure unrestricted flow of business transactions; system operator messages, halts, conflicts.
• Evaluate system upgrades against business requirements for Infor XA and AS400(PTFs) including understanding and providing guidance to business when enabling new features or modifying tailoring questions.
• Define and develop custom programs to address unique business requirements / integrations with 3rd party applications. Test, verify, and deploy custom programs and manage objects through change management process. Keep projects organized and well documented.
• Assist users with issues they may have in ERP, provide guidance with assistance from XA support using Infor’s help line. Maintain relationship with 3rd party support vendor.
• Analyze requirements for complex business, statistical, technical and mathematical problems.
• Maintain source code for production and testing environments.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Senior Director of IT

Education - (Scholar Degree)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems (IS/MIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or Engineering.

Experience - (Years of experience)

• At least 10 years’ experience in manufacturing, accounting, financial systems.

Background - (Hard Skills, Trainings, or required certifications)

• Experience with an IBM i (AS/400) operations including job scheduling and management, device management, and user management.
• Experience with an IBM i (AS/400) Operating System management including HMC, partitioning, configuration, journalling, PTF maintenance, and key management.
• Experience with RPG programming language (RPG III/IV/ILE, Free Form, Embedded SQL).
• Experience with Java programming language.
• Experience with material requirements (MRP) manufacturing software.
• Experience with SOX compliance.
• Working Knowledge of Infor XA 9.X; COM, MRP, PDM, IM.
• Experience with the Power-Link modules of Infor’s XA Products.
• Experience with Java, including object-oriented design and enterprise application development.
• Proficiency with DB2 for i and SQL.
• Strong experience with RPG language (III/IV/ILE, Free-Form, Embedded SQL), CL language.
• Strong experience with SQL, including the DB2 for I SQL concepts.
• Proficient in Java, including object-oriented design and enterprise application development.
• Experience integrating IBM i applications with external systems via APIs, web services and middleware.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, QShell scripting.
• Experience with management and deployment of IBM i Apache, IBM WebSphere, and Tomcat web/application servers.
• Experience with source control and version management tools.
• Familiarity with Eclipse, RDi (Rational Developer for i), or other modern development tools.
• Familiarity with Infor file structure and layout.
• Familiarity with IBM i Access Client Solutions.
• Infor IDF Applications: Link Manager, Power-Link, XA Browser, Integrator Enterprise, System Link.
• Infor Customer Service: Customer Order Management, CSM, COM_Net (Lexel).
