Job Description: 

Main activity

Coordinate actions and administer resources to ensure timely compliance with the weekly production schedule. Coordinate the activities of production leaders.

 

Education

Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Electronics, or related field.

 

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a production environment under an ISO system.

 

Background

  • Basic knowledge of Lean, 5S, Kanban, and Six Sigma.
  • Inventory Control.
  • Technical Drawing Interpretation.
  • Bilingual Spanish-English (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate actions and administer resources to meet weekly production schedules in a timely manner with quality and efficiency.
  • Administer human resources regarding attendance, overtime, and permissions according to company policies.
  • Investigate process waste and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Follow up on continuous improvement projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure the quality management system is implemented in assigned areas.
  • Identify and provide training for personnel under supervision.
  • Develop and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate group leader activities.
  • Establish work-in-process inventory control mechanisms.
  • Collaborate in planning future production weeks.
