Job Description: 
The Director, Operations is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and performance of plant operations, including manufacturing, materials, quality, and continuous improvement. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations while driving productivity, cost efficiency, and operational excellence across the facility. The position leads cross-functional teams, establishes operational strategy, and ensures alignment with company goals and performance targets.
 

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Lead and oversee all plant operations including manufacturing, materials management, and support functions
  • Develop and execute operational plans to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, productivity, waste reduction) across the plant
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., QSR, safety, environmental)
  • Lead workforce planning, talent development, and labor management across departments
  • Manage inventory, capacity planning, and resource allocation to optimize plant performance
  • Partner with engineering and leadership on capital projects, new product introduction, and process improvements

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field(or equivalent experience)
  • 7–10+ years in manufacturing/operations with progressive leadership responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and operational excellence
  • Experience managing multi-functional teams
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred depending on site needs 
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution focus
  • Proven leadership and decision-making ability
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
