Job Description: 

The Inventory Handler Realize pickups and deliver parts to production.Report discrepancies or parts damaged to the superior level. Follow up 6s culture and actively Generates action items to improve warehouse flows.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • With Generated reports by Supervisor do the parts pick up using FIFO and deliver to production on marked areas.

  • Sign formats and get signs from receivers when parts are delivered to production

  • Notify when finding non-conforming materials

  • Monitor physically all the materials and areas and report when anything was damaged Count defined locations when a discrepancy is identified

  • Support ME/QA/PE special requirements and deliver them to shipping

  • Keep archived and well-organized all formats used in the area

  • Participate in cycle count activities and annual physical inventory

  • Support Inventory Control to Perform periodic audits in the warehouse and on production floor to keep the inventory accurate

  • Forklift/stairs/Movil racks/scale/calculator usage

  • Assist in various tasks related as required by Materials Manager

  • Follow up Safety rules for warehouse related to Forklift, handling materials, EPP usage, razor usage, heavy materials, ESD materials, Fastenal racks, consignment areas and times on production floor.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Be safety conscious.

  • Manual ability to handle small/ medium and big parts.

  • Ability to count with hands and scale. 

  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50lbs.

  • Some duties require walking, standing, bending, or climbing for extended periods.

  • Basic math skills and ability to use basic measurement equipment (scale, calculators).

 

Education / Experience          

  • Middle School Diploma

  • Experience in warehouse environment

  • Experience in manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge in warehouses processes
