Production Technician
Job Summary Responsible for supporting the manufacturing process, operators, and production equipment by applying predictive, preventive, and corrective actions to optimize the efficiency and quality of electronic board production. This role also involves utilizing and maintaining inspection and testing equipment based on work instructions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Follow standard work instructions to assemble electronic components on PCBAs using SMT and TH technologies.

Ensure equipment and workstations are safe for operation.

Maintain corrective maintenance, calibration, and setup of equipment.

Provide technical support to achieve productivity and quality goals.

Analyze and resolve technical issues with equipment.

Develop and maintain equipment, procedures, and programs for both current and new products.

Adhere to and promote the 5S methodology.

Utilize and maintain inspection and testing equipment.

Operate and inspect SMT and TH tools and basic hand tools.

Follow production schedules and report defects or concerns.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Ability to operate and inspect basic hand tools.

Proficiency in interpreting electronic drawings.

Knowledge of industry standards for PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly and quality control (a plus).

Ability to generate or validate documentation and create visual aids.

Ability to develop programs, create fixtures, and troubleshoot processes

Education / Experience
-
Basic knowledge of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical degree, high school diploma, or studies in electronics, electrical, or mechatronics.

Experience in SMT and TH assembly is preferred.
