Job Description: 

We are looking to recruit an experienced systems test technician. The candidate will be responsible for testing and to a reasonable degree, debugging to component level on embedded systems used in cutting edge applications on land, sea and air. Systems may contain high – performance computers, graphics processors and network switch components with bespoke power and thermal solutions. You will work as part of a dedicated team of engineers and technicians working to achieve targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

Job Role:

 

  • Test and a degree of debug to component level of high-end electronic circuit boards and assemblies at ambient, high and low temperatures
  • A competent understanding of analogue and digital electronics and associated test methodologies.
  • Adhere to provided test specifications without deviation.
  • Establish strong working relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Ensure all product leaving the site meet the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance

 

Skills/Knowledge Required:

 

  • Testing and debugging to component level of high-end electronic circuit boards and assemblies
  • Competent understanding of analogue and digital electronics
  • Familiarity with associated test methodologies
  • Ability to follow test specifications without deviation
  • Experience in temperature testing of circuit boards
  • Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety protocols
