Job Description: 

Job Summary:

Lead the production staff through each stage of equipment assembly including test and integration to ensure that the production schedules are followed and completed. Work with production planning and logistics to confirm the production plans and material availability at all production stages. Work closely with Engineering to manage NPI to the factory and also to improve manufacturability and quality of existing systems.

Essential Functions:

  1. Direct front line management of the production group.
  2. Ensure that all relevant staff members work to the current production schedule.
  3. Supervises individuals, material handling, assembly, testing and integration.
  4. Promote and support Right 1st Time Quality culture, ensure quantity, product specifications are correct.
  5. Record production progress daily and update the order status on the revenue board.
  6. Develop the production process/flow to improve efficiency.
  7. Develop team skills to support current and future requirements.
  8. Ensure a clean and safe working environment for the staff.
  9. Work with Engineering to support New Product Introduction.
  10. Work with Engineering to improve current and new product manufacturability/Quality.
  11. Manage projects (internal/external) as required to support the operational business requirements.
  12. Maintain strong customer service both internal and external.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  1. Ability to create and follow production schedules.
  2. Ability to use computer based MRP system and MS office/Excel.
  3. Experience and skills in machining techniques (not essential).
  4. Must be detail oriented, possess a high level of accuracy and organization.
  5. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment.

Minimum education and work experience required:

  1. 3 Years prior experience in manufacturing, supply chain management or related field.
  2. High school diploma, some college and or trade school preferred
  3. Proficient in reading and writing in English.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Excellent planning and time management skills

Compensation

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $65,000
Salary Maximum:  $75,000
Incentive:  No
