Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth within your designated territory. His primary mission is to identify new markets, assess potential customer needs, uncover business opportunities, and develop sustainable, profitable business for CAMECA. He will be expected to achieve targets for sales, order intake, growth, and profitability.

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager is responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain a profitable long-term commercial activity for CAMECA.
  • Safeguard CAMECA’s business interests throughout project initiation and implementation phases.
  • Provide management with clear insights into business rules and practices to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support general management in formulating business development strategies.
  • Plan and execute business visits, customer events, and conferences to promote CAMECA solutions.
  • Enhance customer knowledge by contributing to the CRM system.
  • Deliver reliable monthly order forecasts.
  • Submit customer visit reports to Product Sales Managers and weekly sales activity reports.
  • Regularly synthesize and report market data and project status updates to PSL and CAMECA management.
  • Foster and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive landscape within CAMECA’s domain.
  • Initiate escalation procedures for sales and services to uphold CAMECA’s standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Adhere to established company procedures and quality standards.
  • Conduct business in accordance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), UK Bribery Act (UKBA), and relevant national laws.
  • Uphold the highest standards of business ethics.

Requirements

  • Education & experience:
    • Master of Science (Physics, Chemistry) or higher, with demonstrated business management capabilities.
    • Proficiency in international trade and project management.
    • Experience with local business practices in Taiwan.
    • Native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese; fluent in English; additional language skills are an asset.
    • Competency in CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems.
  • Professionnal knowledge & abilities:
    • Strong autonomy and organizational skills.
    • Effective problem-solving abilities and customer orientation.
    • Collaborative team player.
    • Ability to interpret underlying messages and respond tactfully; skilled in objection handling.
    • Proficient public speaker.
    • Willingness to travel frequently for client visits and appointments, including outside the designated territory.
