Job Description: 

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and various services. You will play a vital part in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our operations.

 

The Maintenance Technician will:

  • Schedule and execute preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain electrical systems and compressed air systems.
  • Manage pressure pipes and tubing for Nitrogen lines.
  • Serve as the facilities lead, coordinating with contractors and government agencies on maintenance-related topics (water, fire, HVAC systems).
  • Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Complete all ISO safety checks and ensure procedures are followed.
  • Supervise outside contractors performing maintenance-related work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Maintenance Technician Position Requirements:

  • High proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Certification or licensure as an electrician preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
  • Ability to follow workplace safety standards and company policies.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Uphold and reinforce AMETEK’s safety policies and procedures.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with arms, talk or hear, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical hazards. The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.

Salary Range:

The hourly pay range for this position generally ranges between $24.00 - $27.00  Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, AMETEK provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee assistance program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
