Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in financial analysis and a passion for driving process improvements and automation initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across departments and our global footprint.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Translate trends and analytics into insights for business stakeholder consumption to aid quality of business decisions.
- Design and implement process improvements to streamline reporting, analysis, and operational workflows.
- Develop and deploy automation solutions using tools such as Power BI, Excel VBA, SQL, Python, or RPA platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable financial models and dashboards.
- Maintain and enhance existing financial systems and tools to improve data integrity and reporting capabilities.
- Prepare and present insightful financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support acquisition due diligence and integration activity as needed.
- Systems Support - Evaluate and support the selection and implementation of financial tools and systems — including ERP platforms, planning solutions, and automation technologies.
- Support internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Promotes safe working practices leading to an injury-free workplace.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a proven track record in process improvement and automation.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, Python, SQL, or RPA) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Navision) is a plus.
