Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Join Rauland as a Manufacturing Electrical Engineering Intern and gain hands‑on experience supporting the design and development of manufacturing test equipment for new products. Reporting to the Engineering Group Leader, ATE, this internship is ideal for students pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree who want real‑world exposure to circuit analysis, test development, and engineering collaboration.
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
What You’ll Do

Assist in designing electrical tests and fixtures for new and existing products

Write and edit software routines using C# (Visual Studio) for test applications

Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies to evaluate circuit performance

Support failure analysis, debugging, and test design improvements

Analyze analog circuits and simulate digital vector patterns

Collaborate with circuit design engineers on DFT and device programming requirements
What We’re Looking For
Required:
-
Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering bachelor’s program (completed at least 2 years)

Experience with circuit design

Ability to program in C, C#, Basic, or Perl

Understanding of analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuits

Ability to read and interpret IC datasheets and electrical schematics
Preferred:

Prior intern experience

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Familiarity with microprocessors, flash memory, MAC addressing, and Ethernet communication

Experience with C#, Visual Studio, and .NET WPF applications
