We are looking for the right individual to join our team as a Mold Technician Assistant. This exciting role supports the Mold Technician in maintaining the quality and efficient operation of molding machines and finished products.


What will you do?
On any given day, your responsibilities would include:
•    Reviewing part folders for special instructions, quality alerts, special tooling etc.
•    Setting up machines per molding schedule, loading molds into machines
•    Performing first piece inspections
•    Processing machines as needed to meet quality standards
•    Running molding machine
•    Working with schedule to find out what will be run next and what is unavailable 
•    Machine maintenance as needed
•    Working on preventative maintenance as required 
•    Building tools into mold bases
•    Filling machine hoppers


You are a great fit if you have the following:
•    High school degree or GED and 1-3 years of manufacturing experience and/or training
•    Minimum of one year inspection experience including knowledge of and ability to use measuring tools
•    Basic mathematical skills and problem solving skills
•    Demonstrated motivation and a strong willingness to learn
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills
•    Wokrs effectively as a team member, cooperating well with others
•    Must have reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small parts
•    Ability to read blueprints

Compensation

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $40,000
