Job Title:  Engineering Intern

We are currently seeking an Engineering Intern for our Milford, NH facility. As an intern, you will work in cooperation with senior engineering staff to help accomplish real and current projects relevant to the business that directly contribute to the profitability of the business unit. You will gain real world experience and knowledge related to various metal and plastic machining processes, as well as gain real world knowledge and experience with plastic injection molding and the use of common measuring tools and measurement techniques. The knowledge and experience gained will directly translate to almost any manufacturing operation you would enter as your career advances.

The position will be full-time for the summer break. Ideal candidates would have the ability to work part-time during the school year if desired.

What will you do?

• Work directly with a senior engineer to design, document and validate products and processes.
• Assist senior engineers and managers with daily engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with production team members.
• Work on projects with senior engineers and managers.
• Assist in developing engineering documentation.
• Assist with inspection, data collection, and analyzing data.
• Assist with research and development.

What are we looking for?

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Quality Engineering.
• Good math skills and mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and e-mail to communicate effectively.
• Solidworks or other CAD software experience desired.
