As a Technical Support Engineer, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and improve customer relations. This position reports to the Global Technical Support Manager, Service and Applications Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to distributors, field engineers, and OEM customers.
- Assist with equipment installation, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Train service engineers and distributors on product use and repair techniques.
- Develop and deliver in-house training programs.
- Collaborate with engineering and QC teams to improve product serviceability and resolve quality issues.
- Travel up to 30% in North America and overseas.
Required skills and qualifications
- Degree in a technical discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience servicing software-driven electromechanical systems.
- Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience training others is a plus.
- Team-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to quality.
