The team is looking for a Technical Marketing and Content Manager. The position will be based out of Middlefield, CT and will consider basing the right candidate out of our other US locations if needed.

The Technical Marketing and Content Manager will be responsible for our technical content strategy and development.  You will be instrumental in the development of, and performance to, the company’s annual strategic plan and budget, and in the review of company performance on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product, Sales, Applications, Service, and Engineering teams to identify and prioritize high-value vertical and technical market opportunities
  • Lead technical writers and creative teams to produce high-quality, technically accurate content while defining and defining and managing the annual global editorial calendar in alignment with campaign timelines and vertical market strategies for Zygo, Navitar, Special Optics and Pixelink.
  • Act as a key leader and liaison in the organization, role modeling Zygo-Navitar values, proactively collaborating with our global cross-functional teams to inform content and campaign initiatives.

  • Motivates Others: Leads teams and inspires engagement through meaningful projects like building Key Option Leader programs, Technical Solution-Centric content, and educational outreach, resulting in an increase in customer satisfaction, engagement/views, and industry recognition.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in engineering, optics, photonics, industrial manufacturing, or related technical fields.
  • Background in Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or advanced certification in Marketing or Business. (preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years in a technical marketing or product marketing role with progressing strategic responsibilities.
  • Ability to work with both engineering and creative professionals to facilitate and train teams to understand how to deliver comprehensive feedback to achieve technical accuracy.
