As a Software Engineer, you will focus on electrical components and systems, to prove that the design is viable for manufacturing release. You will collaborate with design and operations teams to support world-class manufacturing of electro-optic products. Your role will require working knowledge of electrical systems and software design, electrical components, test equipment, tooling, and fixtures, as well as proficiency with PCs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design automated and manual electrical test fixtures to support testing of electrical products
  • Design and implement test software
  • Upgrade legacy and modern software systems (C#, MATLAB, and/or Python)
  • Troubleshoot and provide failure analysis for electrical systems

 

Key Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated hands-on experience writing software for electric test systems
  • Programming/software experience in C#, MATLAB, and/or Python
  • Experience with digital and analog electronics and their use in circuit applications
  • Experience with PCBs, electrical components, and system design as well as electronic test equipment
  • Ability to interpret schematics and troubleshoot down to the component level, using a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to write assembly and test procedures
