As a Regional Sales Manager, you will lead growth initiatives across the Upper Midwest by driving strategic sales, building lasting customer relationships, and delivering innovative metrology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth by creating and executing strategic sales plans across the Upper Midwest region.
- Build powerful connections with customers and internal teams to strengthen partnerships and collaboration.
- Stay close to the market—understand customer needs and deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.
- Optimize profitability through smart pricing and discount strategies that balance growth and margin.
- Collaborate on innovation by working with technical experts to design customized metrology solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven technical sales expertise with at least 5 years of experience selling high-value investment goods; familiarity with the Upper Midwest region is a plus.
- Industry knowledge that matters—experience in optics, defense, medical, or automotive sectors combined with a strong technical foundation (engineering degree preferred).
- Metrology and precision engineering know-how, including the ability to interpret technical drawings and deliver consultative solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage confidently with customers, engineering teams, and senior management; strong presentation and negotiation abilities in English.
- Driven and adaptable leader who thrives on challenges, demonstrates flexibility and resilience, and is comfortable traveling up to 60% to build lasting relationships.
