As an R&D Intern, you will embark on an exciting 11-week journey, working on impactful projects that allow you to develop essential engineering skills and contribute to meaningful advancements in our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Research Project: Work on a self-contained research project that includes learning about a new technique, modeling its key properties, and designing and implementing a demonstrator (paper study, hardware, software, or a combination).
- Mathematics and Physics: Apply solid mathematics and physics education to the project.
- Optical Interferometry: Utilize familiarity with optical interferometry and experience with data taking and analysis.
- Software Programming: Use software programming skills and experience to contribute to the project.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills and a desire to learn new things.
Preferred Majors or Coursework
- Optical Engineering
- Physics
- Computer Science (AI)
Skills and Qualifications
- Mathematics and Physics Knowledge: Solid education in mathematics and physics.
- Optical Instrumentation: Familiarity with optical instruments and experience with data taking and analysis.
