As a Product Applications Intern, you will embark on an exciting 11-week journey, working on impactful projects that allow you to develop essential engineering skills and contribute to meaningful advancements in our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Optical Metrology Instruments: Learn about and use various optical metrology instruments.
- User Testing and Validation: Participate in user testing and validation activities to ensure product usability and effectiveness.
- Marketing and Technical Collaterals: Assist in creating marketing and technical collaterals.
- Mentorship: Receive mentorship from experienced application engineers in the field of optical metrology.
- Skill Development: Develop valuable skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and communication within a dynamic environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and sales.
Preferred Majors or Coursework
- Optics
- Physics
- Engineering or related fields
Skills and Qualifications
- Basic Knowledge of Optics/Metrology: Understanding of basic optics and metrology principles.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Programming Experience: Experience with Python is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
