As a Product Applications Intern, you will embark on an exciting 11-week journey, working on impactful projects that allow you to develop essential engineering skills and contribute to meaningful advancements in our products and processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Optical Metrology Instruments: Learn about and use various optical metrology instruments.
  • User Testing and Validation: Participate in user testing and validation activities to ensure product usability and effectiveness.
  • Marketing and Technical Collaterals: Assist in creating marketing and technical collaterals.
  • Mentorship: Receive mentorship from experienced application engineers in the field of optical metrology.
  • Skill Development: Develop valuable skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and communication within a dynamic environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and sales.

 

Preferred Majors or Coursework

  • Optics
  • Physics
  • Engineering or related fields

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic Knowledge of Optics/Metrology: Understanding of basic optics and metrology principles.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Programming Experience: Experience with Python is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
