As a Precision Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly and test of mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or optical subassemblies and instruments.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow prescribed work, quality and safety rules.
  • Work with precision tools and fixturing.
  • Integrate the electro-opto-mechanical components and assemblies to perform the final system qualification.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Applicants must be capable of interpreting spatial relationships of assemblies using detailed drawings and be able to work with procedures, parts lists, schematics, diagrams written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be familiar with mechanical measuring equipment, meters, oscilloscopes, and other related test equipment.
  • Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics, electrical schematics, measuring instruments, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting techniques are required.
  • Basic hand tools skills
  • Basic computer skills

Salary Minimum:  $40,000
