Job Title:  Materials Coordinator

Our team in Middlefield is seeking a Material Coordinator to process and handle components, to ensure timely delivery of raw materials to our work cells, and to drive on-time delivery of quality products and systems to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Value

• Pull production orders and deliver raw material throughout the facility to work cells for manufacturing
• Maintain inventory with weekly/monthly cycle counts, daily stockroom documents and transactions
• Issue material to work orders, complete transactions for shipments, invoicing, and material movement in ERP system
• Process FAST’s daily to return material to suppliers, scrap or move back to production
• Shipping and Receiving: Deliver material to ship along with proper paperwork for returns; identify electronic and mechanical assemblies, verify items, count to purchase orders and accurately record and enter data in ERP; pack, weigh, address and seal boxes containing electro-mechanical assemblies and optical components and their sub-assemblies
• Coordinate with procurement to properly process subcontract work orders to send material out
• Operate with a safety-first mindset

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; basic math aptitude
• Computer skills, ability to work in NAV ERP system preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Flexible, responsive and organized
• Prioritize and work effectively at a variety of demanding tasks and schedules.
• Collaborative team player with a conviction for achievement and problem-solving
