As the Manager, Global Sourcing, you are responsible for shaping and executing a global sourcing strategy that strengthens supply chain resilience, drives cost competitiveness, and supports business growth. Leading a team of Commodity Managers, this role develops strategic supplier partnerships, optimizes the global supply base, mitigates risk, and delivers measurable improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and performance

 

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping a global supply chain strategy that improves resilience, reduces risk, strengthens supplier partnerships, and drives operational excellence across a growing organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global sourcing and category strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sourcing professionals while driving a high-performance culture.
  • Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, including supplier consolidation and long-term partnership initiatives.
  • Enhance supply chain resiliency through dual/multi-sourcing strategies, localization efforts, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Drive annual cost reduction initiatives through negotiation, competitive sourcing, supplier development, and value engineering.
  • Establish supplier performance metrics and lead continuous improvement efforts across quality, delivery, cost, and innovation.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Planning to support production, new product introductions, capacity planning, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Monitor sourcing KPIs and provide leadership with strategic insights and recommendations.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.                                                 
  • 5–10+ years of leading a team in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, global supplier management, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Experience managing supplier networks in low-cost regions and navigating global supply chain complexities.
  • Strong analytical, financial, contract management, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven sourcing strategies.
