As an Electrical Process and Validation Engineer, you will provide technical support and drive innovation in the manufacturing of electrical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical components and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for manufacturing teams, focusing on electrical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical components and systems.
- Develop and implement test fixtures for motorized stages and troubleshoot issues.
- Coordinate the transition of new product development, including testing, integration, and tooling.
- Assist in the development, training, and direction of associate engineers, designers, technicians, and instrument assemblers.
- Analyze production and field failures, provide Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), and lead Continuous Improvement Projects.
Required Skills and Competencies
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering with experience in electrical motors, PCB design, electrical cables, and system design.
- Proficiency in Python programming, with additional skills in VB6, C++, and C# being a plus.
- 2-10 years of work experience, with entry-level candidates considered based on coursework and internships.
- Strong knowledge of PCBs, motors, cables, and components, with the ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write detailed assembly and test procedures using Microsoft Office products.
