JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist for our fast-paced team in the technical business sector. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, this role is responsible for developing strategic content, supporting product launches, and executing digital campaigns that enhance brand visibility. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for storytelling, digital media, and cross-functional collaboration. Success in this role requires excellent writing and editing skills, project management abilities, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and edit marketing content including emails, brochures, newsletters, and social media posts to effectively communicate product value and brand messaging.
  • Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns across email, web, and social platforms, including scheduling, tracking, and performance analysis.
  • Coordinate and support product launches, ensuring timely development of collateral, internal communications, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product management, sales, HR) to gather information and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Proofread and review marketing materials for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency prior to publication or distribution.
  • Assist in managing website content, including updates, organization, and optimization for user experience and SEO.
  • Support internal communications and events, including drafting announcements, coordinating logistics, and promoting engagement.
  • Contribute to social media strategy and execution, including content planning, publishing, and community engagement.
  • Learn and apply basic graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva to support visual content creation.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform content strategy, campaign planning, and product positioning.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in marketing communications, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably in a technical or B2B environment.
  • Proven ability to write, edit, and proofread a variety of marketing materials with attention to detail and brand consistency.
  • Experience managing or supporting digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and website content.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, email marketing software (e.g., Pardot, Mailchimp), and social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite).
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles and experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $50,000
Salary Maximum:  $60,000
Incentive:  1289
