Your Impact:
- Lead and oversee general ledger, accounts payable, and inventory accounting processes
- Ensure compliance with HGB, SOX, and international tax regulations
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits
- Generate insightful financial reports and statistics
- Drive process improvements and support system implementations
- Act as a key finance partner in M&A activities and integration projects
- Mentor junior accounting staff and support their development
Your Profile:
- Successfully completed commercial training with certification as a Certified Accountant ("Bilanzbuchhalter") or hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in accounting or financial controlling
- Comprehensive knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and international accounting standards (IFRS)
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), with advanced, hands-on proficiency
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and excellent analytical skills
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and quick to grasp new concepts
- Fluent in both German and English, with strong communication skills in written and spoken form
