Hardware Developer

As a Hardware Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of radiation detectors.
Your tasks:
- Development, design, and programming of hardware components and systems for radiation measuring instruments and radiation detectors.
- Creation of circuit diagrams and layouts for printed circuit boards.
- Carrying out tests and error analyses.
- Cooperation with other departments, such as software development and production.
- Documentation of development processes and results.
Your profile:
- Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
- 10+ years of professional experience in hardware development, ideally in the field of radiation protection or measurement technology.
- Sound knowledge of circuit technology and PCB design.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KICAD, freeCAD).
- Programming knowledge of Ansi-C, Assembler, System-Verilog HDL, or Python.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills in German and English.
- Managing changing priorities and delivering on tight timelines.
