Job Description: 

Introductory:

Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, the Program Manager oversees the strategic and operational management of several complex projects and/or of a key project/program for the company. They ensure the coherence, performance, and profitability of the program throughout its lifecycle, in alignment with the company’s objectives.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Define the program’s vision, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with the company’s strategy.
  • Lead all projects within the program, ensuring their coherence, strategic alignment, and effective execution according to the Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM) model.
  • Coordinate project managers and functional leaders involved in the program, supporting them in managing risks, resources, and decision‑making.
  • Ensure cross‑functional coordination among internal stakeholders (R&D, Marketing, Procurement, Industrialization, Production, Service) as well as external partners.
  • Guarantee adherence to commitments related to cost, quality, schedule, and overall program performance.
  • Manage the program’s overall budget and optimize resource allocation in collaboration with Engineering managers and technical project managers.
  • Establish and track program performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting to Executive Management.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and technological innovations to guide strategic program decisions in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of program management processes and help strengthen the company’s project culture.

 

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or Ph.D.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in managing complex projects or programs within scientific instrumentation or industrial machinery environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in crossfunctional leadership and strategic program oversight.
  • Proven leadership and the ability to unite and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
  • Strong strategic vision, with solid analytical and synthesis abilities.
  • High levend the ability to make decisions in complex environments.
  • Proficiency with program management tools and related methodologies
  • Travel : Worldwide - 10%
