As a Finance Intern at CAMECA, you will be an integral part of our business process improvement initiatives. You will have the opportunity to engage with business partners across the organization. We are looking for you to leverage your technical and financial knowledge to review and improve our management reporting processes. The product generated will serve as an integral part of increasing the effectiveness & efficiency of our reporting package. Additionally, we may assign further tasks/responsibilities, as needed & appropriate.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Engage with stakeholders to identify needs & wants with regards to assigned reporting tools

  • Identify & implement a sustainable reporting process, which ensures:

  • Accurate & compliant reporting

  • Minimizes manual intervention

  • Utilizes automated data processing as much as feasible

  • Review & assess existing process documentation vs practice

  • Check for gaps in processes vs internal guidelines & policies

  • Identify & highlight gaps future improvement opportunities

  • Other tasks as assigned

 

Requirements for Consideration:

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • 2-4 years of continued successful studies in Finance/Accounting or related field @ a University

  • High proficiency of MS office suite (especially MS Excel) is required

  • Experience with Power-BI or equivalent tools is preferred

  • Prior internships or work experience in mfg environment is preferred
