Key responsibilities of the Shipping Clerk role
- Prepare and process customer orders and internal requests according to priorities.
- Verify materials, quantities, and documentation to ensure shipment accuracy.
- Prepare all required shipping documentation.
- Select appropriate packaging, pack materials, weigh and measure shipments, and perform a final validation before shipping.
- Create and print identification and shipping labels.
- Perform transactions and updates in our ERP system and internal software applications.
- Comply with specific transportation requirements and CTPAT documentation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of boxes and packaging materials.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and safe work environment.
What will help you succeed at FARO CREAFORM
- Three years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience using NAV, Dynamic Ship, or a similar system is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of shipping documentation and transportation processes is considered an asset.
- Comfortable working with computer applications, particularly Excel.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- A quality-driven mindset with a strong customer service orientation.
