Our operations department is looking for a warehouse worker who will be responsible for the warehouse, both in terms of the service it provides to production and inventory maintenance. The main task is to supply the production lines with components for manufacturing various products. The person must also take care of storage according to the established system and ensure that finished products leaving production are returned to the warehouse. Depending on production needs, versatility between warehouse clerk and inspection duties is expected in the respective role.
 
This is a daytime job, Monday through Friday, in a beautiful work environment that is enriching, rewarding, and humane!

 

Your projects will involve:

 

  • Managing all store operations
  • Preparing materials for assembly lines
  • Placing raw materials and finished products on shelves
  • Ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO)
  • Perform the necessary transactions in the inventory management system (NAV);
  • Keep track of remaining quantities of parts and communicate potential stockout risks to your manager.
  • Participate in the various stages of inventory (inventory taking, counting, etc.);
  • Manage the expiration dates of calibrated finished products and report any recalibration needs to production supervisors.
  • Check the conformity of parts received by visual inspection or with measuring instruments and document any rejects.
  • Return non-conforming parts.
  • Support the purchasing department with supplier quality control.
  • Document inspections by filling out reports and the database;

  • Have relevant experience in a similar environment;
  • Are familiar with a quality control system;
  • Are familiar with an ERP system (NAV) (an asset);
  • Have strong computer skills (Office Suite).
  • Are able to read, write, and understand English (an asset).
  • Have the ability to work in a team and communicate;
  • Are meticulous, organized, and thorough;
  • Are proactive, independent, and resourceful;
  • Are able to work under pressure.
