In this key role, you will act as a technical leader responsible for operational performance, resource development, and the quality of the solutions delivered. You’ll be involved in both hands-on work and strategic initiatives: estimating, coaching, project supervision, planning, continuous improvement, and sales support.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the director and contribute to the annual strategic plan while helping structure, improve, and deploy our automation and electrical engineering offering
- Support the sales team with technical qualification, proposal preparation, and project cost estimation
- Oversee projects from design to commissioning, ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction
- Improve processes, tools, and work methods while planning capacity and optimizing resource utilization
- Guide, motivate, and develop the team through involvement in hiring, performance management, and skills development
A few qualities that will help you thrive at FARO Creaform
- Member of the OIQ (major asset)
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automation, robotics, or a related field
- 7 years of experience in industrial automation
- Experience in team leadership/management
- Experience estimating custom projects (50k to $3M)
- Strong knowledge of collaborative robotics, machine safety, and risk analysis
- Familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 12100, CSA Z432, and ISO 13849
