From Goods In to final dispatch, your expertise will help maintain stock integrity, support audit readiness, and drive continuous improvement across our stores environment.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
To work as part of the Stores Team, ensuring the effective, efficient and accurate receipt, control, and dispatch of goods and services by carrying out, but not limited to, the following duties:
Goods In – Receipt & Inspection
- Conduct structured receipt, inspection and booking in of goods.
- Book in and issue piece parts to the workshop, ensuring correct system transactions and full traceability.
- Perform detailed accuracy checks, including inspection of bonded spares.
- Quarantine and escalate non compliant or suspect items.
- Complete put-away to controlled locations, maintaining correct location/bin accuracy and stock status.
- Identify packaging damage/shortages and raise discrepancies promptly through the correct system/process.
Goods Out & Dispatch
- Pack goods securely and prepare shipments in accordance with procedures.
- Prepare and generate dispatch notes and associated export/customs documentation using company systems.
- Own and complete the full shipment documentation pack independently (e.g., dispatch note, customs/export paperwork and any customer/regulatory documents), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance for domestic and international dispatch.
- Liaise with couriers, carriers and freight forwarders to coordinate collections/shipments and ensure documentation is aligned to shipping requirements.
- Pick/kit and stage parts to work orders/dispatch requirements, ensuring correct labels, quantities and traceability.
Stock Control & Inventory Accuracy
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies independently.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy across all stock locations.
- Complete stock moves/transfers and status changes correctly in the system (including quarantine/controlled stock where applicable).
Systems & Data Management
- Accurately record all Stores transactions using company systems.
- Generate work orders, pick tickets and other operational documentation.
- Ensure system data integrity and correct allocation of stock.
Customer, Courier & Freight Liaison
- Resolve complex customer, supplier, courier and freight forwarder enquiries.
- Support internal teams with accurate and timely Stores information.
Compliance, Safety & Quality
- Ensure stores activities comply with regulatory, customer and company requirements.
- Identify suspected unapproved parts and follow escalation procedures.
- Support Team Leader to uphold a clean, organised and audit ready Stores environment.
Team Support & Mentoring
- Provide informal coaching and on-the-job support to colleagues to promote right-first-time transactions and compliance.
- Share best practice and help standardise ways of working across Goods In/Dispatch.
- Support the Team Leader by escalating issues early with clear facts/options and by maintaining a steady workflow during peak demand.
Qualifications/Skills:
Essential:
- PC literate; confident using ERP/WMS for end-to-end stores transactions.
- Strong accuracy/attention to detail with traceability and documentation control.
- Practical experience in Goods In, Stores and Dispatch (including packing and paperwork).
- Manual handling capability and safe working practices.
- Domestic/international shipping documentation experience.
Desirable:
- Quantum experience.
