Job Description: 

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for providing a sales and marketing service for the MRO Europe business units, covering existing and potential customers to increase levels of profitable business, covering existing and potential repair capability.  The sales territory will be a defined area covering EMEA markets.

 

Responsibilities

 

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and act on territory sales activity plans
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage the entire sales process, including prospecting, meetings, presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Provide pricing proposals and quotations in response to customer RFQs or for unsolicited submission acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle and post-sales process.

 

Client Relationship Management:

  • Direct customer liaison including visits, correspondence and telephone contacts in respect of all aspects of past and present and future sales potential.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns.
  • Provide regular visit reports to management.

 

Identify New Business Opportunities:

  • Review of existing customer business to define and realise potential new business opportunities.
  • Detailed ongoing analysis and understanding of territory to define and realise potential new business.
  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and expand the company’s reach. (marketing, product, and operations) to align efforts and develop joint strategies.

 

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Propose potential new repair capability opportunities to develop the repair business.
  • Provide content to and assisting in the preparation of management reports for both the Company and the Customer.
  • Attend Trade Shows and Exhibitions as requested.
  • Liaison with accounts department to assist with debtor queries so invoices are cleared.
  • Assist Marketing Team when requested.

 

Requirements:

  1. Experience in the Aerospace MRO industry is desirable
  2. Knowledge and understanding of the MRO aspect of the airline, business aviation and helicopter (EMS, offshore, private) markets is preferred
  3. Able to take a strategic and analytical approach to identifying and winning new business based on existing capability and potential capability from existing and new customers within defined regions.
  4. Proficiency in CRM software (SalesForce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Ability to work well in multidiscipline/cross-functional teams.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good rapport with customers and colleagues.
  7. Strong analytical, administrative and organisation skills and excellent attention to detail.
  8. Innovative and enthusiastic.
  9. Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and multitask.
  10. Well organized and self-motivated.
  11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  12. Familiarity with various business development strategies.
  13. Significant proven experience in sales, or account management.
  14. Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  15. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  16. Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and presentation skills.
  17. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
