Job Description: 

Scope of Role:

As an engineer, you will identify and implement workflow improvements to enhance efficiency, develop standard operating procedures, and conduct preventive maintenance on equipment. You will also lead new product development projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with EASA Part 145 regulations.

 

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Maintain and Improve Workflow:

  • Identify, analyze, and implement improvements in workflow processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations.

Ensure Preventive Maintenance:

  • Schedule and conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Oversee and Execute New Product Development (NPD):

  • Lead and coordinate NPD projects from conception to launch, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand the MRO product line and improve existing products.

Comply with Part 145 Regulations:

  • Ensure all maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities comply with EASA Part 145 regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
  • Non-Essential Requirements:
  • While not essential, experience with DOA and/or POA is preferred and will be considered an advantage.
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members on DOA/POA related activities as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in MRO operations and preventive maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of Part 145 regulations.
  • Experience with avionics.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
