Job Title: Account Specialist BAE

Scope of Role:
Dedicated to managing the BAE customer account, providing administrative support and being the focal contact point for the customer.
Aim to increase business year on year by providing high quality and responsive customer service, purchase and repair administrative and technical query support to BAE Respond to RFQ’s in a timely manner and ensure we are meeting BAE’s schedule dates for delivery.
Processing of all purchasing & repairs under these contracts, ensuring orders at subcontractors are raised accurately and on time to ensure all goods and services are supplied in accordance with specified technical, quality and delivery requirements and subject to contractual terms.
Assisting the purchasing team and provide support raising Purchase Orders for inventory when required.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Administration of customer purchase requirements, repairs and calibrations both in our repair facility and subcontracted ensuring they are administered within our BAE quality approval.
- Obtain pricing information from the supplier base with supporting paperwork and load into ERP system.
- Provide high-quality customer service to all customers.
- Quoting and pricing of repairs or sale of other goods and services.
- Completing approved certificates, despatch, and invoice.
- Customer delivery forecasts, reports and general enquiries.
- Maintain and improve TAT (turn-around-time), quality and cost effectiveness.
- Provide guidance where possible to the benefit of the company and its customers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies requirements.
- Work as part of a team, act professionally, and convey a positive and constructive approach.
- This role may occasionally require travel to customer or supplier sites to support business needs and maintain strong working relationships
