Job Description: 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist role is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for job openings  within the division. This role partners closely with Hiring Managers and HR to attract, assess, and hire top talent in support of business growth. Operating within UPT’s standardized global recruiting model, the Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures a consistent, efficient, and high-quality hiring process while delivering strong candidate experience and data-driven results. 


 

Key Responsibilities

 

Full-Cycle Recruitment

 

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to define role requirements, hiring criteria, and timelines
  • Lead intake discussions and provide guidance on recruiting strategies for both direct labor and professional roles

 

Sourcing & Talent Attraction

 

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies leveraging job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and talent networks
  • Build candidate pipelines for high-volume and recurring roles
  • Engage both active and passive candidates to ensure strong candidate flow
  • Able to source independently as well as work with dedicated sourcing recruiters

 

Candidate Assessment & Experience

 

  • Screen and evaluate candidates against defined success criteria and job requirements
  • Coordinate structured interview processes and ensure alignment across hiring teams
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience through proactive communication and timely feedback

 

Stakeholder Partnership

 

  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition team, Hiring Managers, and HR Business Partners
  • Provide recruiting insights and recommendations aligned to workforce needs
  • Influence hiring decisions using data and market intelligence

 

Process, Compliance & Analytics

 

  • Manage requisitions and candidate workflows within SuccessFactors ATS
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations

 

Employer Branding

 

  • Support initiatives that enhance AMETEK’s reputation as an employer of choice
  • Represent the organization professionally in all candidate interactions

 

Recruiting Data Analysis & Reporting

 

  • Analyze recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, time-to-slate, pipeline health, aging requisitions, source effectiveness, and candidate conversion rates.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data within SuccessFactors and other recruiting systems to ensure reporting integrity.
  • Develop and distribute regular recruiting dashboards, reports, and insights for Hiring Managers, HR, and business leadership.
  • Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement using recruiting data and analytics.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support workforce planning, hiring prioritization, and recruiting resource allocation.
  • Monitor recruiting performance against established KPIs and communicate progress toward hiring goals.
  • Utilize reporting tools, Excel, and AI-enabled analytics solutions to improve recruiting effectiveness and decision-making.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 3–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Manufacturing or industrial recruiting experience preferred
  • Experience supporting both hourly (direct labor) and professional roles
  • Experience creating and analyzing recruiting metrics, dashboards, and hiring reports.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, charts, and reporting.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors preferred) and recruiting analytics tools.
  • Ability to interpret recruiting data and translate findings into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
