We are seeking a Financial Controller (m/f/d), located in Germany, Korntal-Münchingen. 
 
Responsibilities:
 
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including production budgets, labor and overhead rates
  • Prepare monthly S&OP, rolling forecasts, and profit forecasts at regional and international level
  • Support strategic planning through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance insights
 
Financial Performance & Cost Control
  • Partner with department heads to monitor financial performance through monthly variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain and continuously improve inventory controls and cost accounting processes
  • Analyze monthly variances and maintain accurate labor and overhead rates
  • Maintain and oversee product pricing to ensure profitability and alignment with business stategy
 
Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Consolidate financial results across mutliple regions and legal entities
  • Ensure full compliance with IFRS, as well local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and advisors across mutliple jurisdictions
 
Internal Controls & Governance
  • Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure adherence to global finance policies and procedures
  • Develop and enhance management reporting, analysis tools, and control measures to support decision-making and risk management
 
Qualification:
 
  • Degree in Finance & Accounting or Business Administration
  • Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise
  • Proven ability to manage complexity in international environments
  • Knowledge of Germany and International Accounting standards including US GAAP / IFRS desired
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, other EU languages are an advantage
  • Excellent SAP knowledge, advanced Excel and ERP system experience
  • Experience of working with reporting software tools
  • At least 5 years of experience in F&A

Compensation

Currency:  EUR
Salary Minimum:  85,000
Salary Maximum:  95,000
Incentive:  No
