Job Description:

Are you passionate about people and driven to make a positive impact in the workplace? Join our team as an HR Generalist, where you'll play a key role in shaping a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing culture. This is a hands-on, dynamic role that touches all aspects of the employee experience—from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance.

You’ll be a trusted partner to both employees and leadership, helping to foster a workplace where people feel heard, valued, and empowered to do their best work.

What you'll do:

  • Be a People Partner: Serve as a go-to resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Own Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the full onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a smooth, professional, and positive experience for all employees—from day one to their last day.
  • Resolve with Care: Address employee relations issues with professionalism and empathy, including complaints, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Support Remote Employees: Serve as the primary HR contact for a small group of remote employees, ensuring they feel connected, supported, and aligned with company culture and policies, along with ensuring compliance in the various states they live in.
  • Lead with Learning: Facilitate training sessions and new hire orientations that set employees up for success, as well as be the LinkedIn Learning champion for the division.
  • Recruit Top Talent: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for a variety of roles, ensuring a seamless and inclusive candidate experience. Assist the Division Talent Manager with interview scheduling, preparation of interview packets, and coordination with hiring teams to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Support Benefits & Wellness: Guide employees through benefits programs and ensure timely enrollment and compliance with all required documentation.
  • Drive Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to company policies and government regulations.
  • Celebrate Success: Coordinate employee recognition programs that highlight achievements and foster a culture of appreciation.
  • Assist with Payroll: Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, including timekeeping.
  • Champion Employee Experience: Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and recommend improvements to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Lead Projects & Improve Processes: Take ownership of various HR-related projects and proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall employee experience.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field—or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in a generalist or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills— approachable, empathetic, and solution-oriented.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to embrace change in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
