Role Summary:

The Sales Director – Variable Channel Partners (EMEA) will lead and manage the entire ecosystem of indirect sales channels—including distributors, resellers, and commission agents—across the EMEA region. This strategic role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, enhancing partner performance, and aligning with corporate objectives across aerospace, defense, automotive, medical devices, Renewable energy and industrial verticals.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, deep expertise in distributor management, and a solid technical foundation within  EMC compliance testing, RF Power amplifiers, electronic testing and measurement equipment manufacturing. This leader will serve as a key interface between our partner network and major customers, fostering high-performance sales alliances and measurable business outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute EMEA go-to-market strategies via variable sales channels.
  • Define and refine distributor/reseller segmentation, territory assignments, and coverage models.
  • Identify, onboard, and develop channel partners through structured alliance agreements.
  • Set and monitor annual sales targets and quarterly quotas.
  • Build and maintain partner scorecards to evaluate performance, ROI, and strategic alignment.
  • Conduct regular QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with key partners.
  • Enforce KPI-based channel performance tracking.
  • Good knowledge of managing CRM Salesforce.com for Lead, Opportunities and Data management.
  • Implement corrective actions where underperformance is identified.
  • Actively support key customer visits, product presentations, and technical discussions alongside partners.
  • Identify and penetrate strategic accounts in collaboration with channel partners.
  • Drive sustainable, organic growth across regional verticals.
  • Analyze sales trends, market share evolution, and competitive activity.
  • Provide detailed forecasting, funnel analysis, and monthly performance dashboards to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with the global marketing team to drive demand generation campaigns.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or a related technical discipline.
  • MBA or relevant management qualifications preferred experience.

 

Experience:

  • 5–10 years of progressive sales and channel leadership experience in the electronic test and measurement manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated success in managing distributors, resellers, and agents within Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, and Industrial markets.
  • Experience negotiating alliance/commission agreements and structuring territory-specific growth plans.

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen in channel ROI and sales performance.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, funnel conversion metrics, and CRM utilization (Salesforce).
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across cultures and countries.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

 

Travel Requirement:

  • Up to 50% travel within EMEA for partner management and customer visits.
