Position Summary:

As a Cleaning Room Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our products in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for cleaning parts by submerging them into various tanks with degreasers, alkaline cleaners, and acids. After cleaning, you will rinse, blow dry, and hand wipe parts to meet quality specifications. Additionally, you will inspect, label, and package products using plastic bag vacuum sealers.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to follow specific cleaning guidelines and instructions with precision and attention to detail. Experience in light industrial or high-volume manufacturing environments, especially where assembly/process travelers are employed, is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with others in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A strong ability to adhere to processes and maintain high standards of cleanliness will be key to success in this role.

 

How You Will Do It:

  • Follow clean room guidelines and maintain tanks to ensure no contamination of production
  • Read and follow work instructions to meet customer specifications
  • Self-inspect assemblies and ensure compliance with quality control requirements
  • Adhere to all quality control standards and specifications
  • Follow clean room protocols, including gowning and wearing PPE (e.g., lightweight clean-room suit, eye protection, gloves, respirator)
  • Clean, label, and package components per product specifications.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment and comply with company regulations
  • Monitor equipment, maintain supplies, inspect products, and perform light data entry
  • Perform a mix of stationary and non-stationary tasks
  • Contribute to the team effort by supporting additional tasks as directed

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written materials, including drawings and job instructions
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic computer knowledge
  • Strong work ethic with a keen attention to detail, excellent attendance, and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to lift 10 pounds consistently without assistance and 50 pounds occasionally with assistance
