Job Description: 

Position Summary:

Our company is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our quality control team as a CMM Operator and Inspector.  Perform flatness and dimension measurements using CMM and portable CMMs such as Romer Absolute Arm.  You will also use precise measurement tools to ensure our products meet our manufacturing standards. Applicants need to be able to read blueprints and interpret GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) symbols, so some technical training or professional experience is required

 

This is for our 2nd shift which is 1:00pm-10:00pm

 

How You will Do it:

  • Perform flatness and dimension measurements using CMM and portable CMMs such as Romer Absolute Arm.

  • Read blueprints and interpret GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) symbols.

  • Conduct quality control inspections using CMM and other measuring equipment and tools.

  • Perform maintenance as necessary.

  • Work with quality team to meet manufacturing deadlines.

  • 2nd shift hours 1pm - 10pm

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma

  • Blueprint reading skills

  • Familiarity with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) symbols

  • Experience with precise measurement tools, such as caliper, micrometer, pin gage, height gage, dial indicator, Pi tape, deltronic pins, use tripod to inspect surface flatness, bore gage, optical comparator-angle/distance, fillet gage, radius gage set, surface finish chart, thread gage 2A/2B, profilometer, groove micrometer, blade micrometer, super micrometer

  • Quality inspection experience in Aerospace is preferred

  • Basic math skills

  • Attention to detail

Compensation

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $60,000
Salary Maximum:  $70,000
