Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - North America

Your Impact:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for generating profitable sales growth through maintaining and expanding the customer base across the region. The role will work closely with other sales team members, marketing, engineering and operational staff at Shildon and in regional offices. The position is responsible for identification (lead generation), project pursuit and order conversion within the region, and supporting global cross-territory activity. The role is responsible for developing regional sales and channel strategies in line with company objectives and managing and maintaining product and customer qualification as required within the region. The role supports order fulfilment activities, governs customer satisfaction within the area, and keeps up-to-date market intelligence and customer relationship tools.
Key responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets for specific product groups within North America. There is potential to expand the region to include South America once established in the position.
- Project pursuit of major contracts with the relevant product managers, including support of cross-territory global projects.
- Develop and implement country/regional strategies to grow sales within North America.
- Market intelligence and customer feedback.
- Provides information for tender & contract review, and when required, supports bid preparation.
- Promotional activities including product presentations, attending exhibitions and conferences.
- Reporting requirements include submission of quarterly/ annual travel plans, visit reporting, contact management and monthly order forecasting via salesforce.
- Travel can be expected; up to 40% including international and domestic.
- Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or equivalent experience is required.
- 3+ years of sales experience with an emphasis on project pursuit and ideally exposure to the upstream flow measurement market.
- Staunch disciplinarian with regards to ethics, safety, environmental and quality policies.
- Competent user of MS Office and sales management tools such as Salesforce.
- Commercial knowledge including contract terms & conditions, negotiation and margins.
