Job Description: 

The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain leads the strategic planning and execution of end-to-end supply chain operations, from procurement, production planning, and inventory management to logistics and distribution. This role develops and implements scalable processes to meet customer demand, optimize cost efficiency, minimize risk, and ensure continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a cross-functional leader who excels at driving operational excellence while fostering strong supplier relationships and internal partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals and market demand, improving efficiency and reducing costs
  • Lead procurement, inventory planning, production scheduling, and logistics to ensure seamless flow of goods and materials
  • Manage demand forecasting and sales & operations planning (S&OP), identifying volume variations and responding with agility
  • Oversee supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor performance, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage exceptions, optimizing working capital while meeting customer service targets
  • Lead logistics and distribution, partnering with internal teams and external carriers to optimize network performance
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., disruptions, capacity, compliance with regulations and quality standards)
  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics, deliver insights to senior leadership, and leverage data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
  • Champion process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methods to drive operational excellence
  • Develop and mentor supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and high performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Operations, Engineering, and IT for integrated supply chain planning

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain or operations management
  • Proficiency in ERP/supply chain tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle), with strong data analysis skills (Excel, reporting tools)
  • Experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, procurement, logistics, and S&OP
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements (Lean/Six Sigma)
  • Strong contract negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cross-functional leadership experience

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, MBA, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Professional certification (APICS CPIM/CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, PMP)
  • 10+ years of industry experience, particularly in manufacturing, retail, pharmaceuticals, or consumer goods
  • Experience managing global or multi-site supply chain operations, including international logistics and customs
  • Advanced analytical skills, including SQL and business intelligence tools
  • Background in network design and capacity planning, including warehouse/distribution optimization
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives or circular supply chains

Salary Minimum:  $80,000
Salary Maximum:  $120,000
