Job Title:  Director, Operations

The Director of Operations is responsible for leading day‑to‑day manufacturing operations with a strong focus on achieving world‑class performance in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and people (SQDIPP). This role develops processes, feedback mechanisms, and cross‑functional alignment to meet business needs and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct daily operations to exceed expectations of internal and external customers.
• Allocate resources effectively and ensure optimal utilization of assets.
• Implement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Continuously improve SQDIPP metrics and initiate corrective actions.
• Serve as project leader and operations representative for major initiatives.
• Stay current on best practices in production management.
• Assist in developing and managing the manufacturing budget.
• Communicate operational or financial risks to appropriate levels.
• Ensure proper operational investment to support continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in the maquiladora industry.
• Experience in PCBA fabrication and electronic assembly.
• Bilingual: English & Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar international quality standards.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Minitab.
