We are currently seeking an Engineering Intern for our Herndon, VA office. As an intern, you will work in cooperation with senior engineering staff to help accomplish real and current projects relevant to the business that directly contribute to the profitability of the business unit. You will gain real world experience and knowledge related to various software development processes, as well as gain real world knowledge and hands on experience with current and latest software tools and technologies.

 

What will you do?

  • Work directly with a senior engineer to design, document and validate software products and processes.
  • Assist senior engineers and managers with daily engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with Product team members.
  • Assist in developing engineering documentation.
  • Assist with data analysis, data quality and reporting.
  • Assist with research and development.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Good math skills and mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Effective written and communication skills.
  • Programming skills are highly preferred (E.g. OOP programming language such as Java, .NET. Python will also be useful)

Compensation

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $40,000
Salary Maximum:  $45,000
