Zygo Corporation is looking for an experienced and service-oriented Remote Field Service Engineer to provide excellent customer service across the Shanghai. This individual is responsible for customer service of the assigned territory, which may also include other provinces. This position requires the candidate to be a Chinese National. This position reports to the China Service Manager. The individual in this position will be responsible for the service of ZYGO's metrology instrumentation systems in the assigned territory. He/she will be a trusted advisor to our customers regarding product service and upgrade needs. This individual will manage the customer service relationships in partnership with the territory Accounts Manager and develop strategic and tactical plans to optimize the service potential at assigned accounts.
What You'll Do
- Installing, servicing, and repairing customer equipment both in-house and on-site
- Specific responsibilities include developing and initiating contact with established and new customers to provide installation and on-site service within the assigned territory. From time to time, responsibilities will include supporting in-house and on-site technical presentations, setup/tear-down for product demonstrations as well as assisting setup/tear down of trade show exhibition booths.
- The individual in this position will be responsible for maintaining complete technical service knowledge of ZYGO products. He/she may coordinate the efforts of other ZYGO technical and sales personnel, both inside and outside of the respective region, to the benefit of the customer and ZYGO.
- Work closely with the Metrology Systems Division to develop service strategies that deliver growth for all product lines.
- This individual will be required to fully understand and utilize company administrative tools and procedures. All relevant account information is to be recorded in the Salesforce CRM.
- Manage work within service region to ensure that not only World Class Customer Service level delivered coupled with strong revenue growth.
- Report and provide formal feedback to Zygo management on performance within the region.
