Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Responsible for ICP & XRF Sales in Southern of China.
- Develop & build sales territories within assigned region while meeting regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements.
- Maintains and expands customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifies new customer opportunities
- Acquires and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of all assigned product lines by attending in-house technical training course
- Attends sales meetings and trade shows and reads industry publications to gain knowledge of competitors’ product strengths and weaknesses within assigned sales territory
- Participates in technical/professional organizations or networking groups, attends trade shows and/or conferences to obtain leads
- Manages all aspects of the assigned territory, e.g., increasing sales, developing and managing customer relationships, conducting product demos, installations and customer training
- Provide timely, accurate, follow up to customer enquiries and keep accurate records within CRM
- Manage the direct sales channels within territory
- Ensures compliance with all relevant commercial policies and procedures to ensure that the business maintains full legal compliance with all relevant national legislation and Ametek policies
Your profile:
- Qualified to degree level (or similar) in a technical discipline
- 3+ years experience of working in a technical sales environment is strongly preferred
- Proven / demonstrable successful track record in growing sales and customer base
- Key Account Management experience desirable
- Strong team player with the ability to work successfully on own initiative
- Ability to translate technical product information into strong customer value proposition
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft packages, CRM systems, video webinar use & quoting tools.
- Effective time management and organisational skills in setting priorities
