Job Description: 

Your tasks:

  • Responsible for ICP & XRF Sales in Southern of China.
  • Develop & build sales territories within assigned region while meeting regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifies new customer opportunities
  • Acquires and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of all assigned product lines by attending in-house technical training course
  • Attends sales meetings and trade shows and reads industry publications to gain knowledge of competitors’ product strengths and weaknesses within assigned sales territory
  • Participates in technical/professional organizations or networking groups, attends trade shows and/or conferences to obtain leads
  • Manages all aspects of the assigned territory, e.g., increasing sales, developing and managing customer relationships, conducting product demos, installations and customer training
  • Provide timely, accurate, follow up to customer enquiries and keep accurate records within CRM
  • Manage the direct sales channels within territory
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant commercial policies and procedures to ensure that the business maintains full legal compliance with all relevant national legislation and Ametek policies

 

Your profile:

 

  • Qualified to degree level (or similar) in a technical discipline
  • 3+ years experience of working in a technical sales environment is strongly preferred
  • Proven / demonstrable successful track record in growing sales and customer base
  • Key Account Management experience desirable
  • Strong team player with the ability to work successfully on own initiative
  • Ability to translate technical product information into strong customer value proposition
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, CRM systems, video webinar use & quoting tools.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills in setting priorities
