Job Title:  Manager, Global Service Sales

Under the responsibility of the BU Service Director, the Global Service Sales Manager is responsible for driving the growth of service sales worldwide. He/she leads and implements the service sales strategy to fully capture market potential and achieve commercial and financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead service sales activities to achieve commercial and financial objectives, with a focus on sales volume (top line) and margins (bottom line);
• Define global service sales strategies and ensure they are understood and implemented by local sales teams;
• Set pricing and payment terms, apply and uphold service terms and conditions according to market requirements;
• Support field service sales teams in generating sales opportunities, negotiating, and closing deals;
• Work closely with service sales teams worldwide to develop service sales through targeted prospecting;
• Provide service management with all relevant information and reporting required to enable accurate and timely forecasting of order intake and revenue.
• Compile and prioritize non-standard customer requests (FRO process), including their pricing;
• Work closely with Product Sales Managers to address their needs when service support is required for new offerings.

Education & experience :

• Master’s degree in Science or equivalent;
• A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a service sales role in high-tech markets and capital equipment;
• International business experience;
• Familiarity with the field of laboratory instrumentation, preferably in surface analysis or materials science, with a strong understanding of research markets

• Good interpersonal skills

• Travel frequency : International 50%
