Job Description: 

Position Summary:

This position controls inventory of finished goods needed to fulfill forecasted sales and scheduled distribution plans.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and updates schedule to reflect inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting and administrative controls.

  • Analyzes inventory levels, production speed, product demand, and shipment schedules to help guide on reordering levels for product availability.

  • Supports with inventory system.

  • Works with the Material Handlers in supporting the operations on-time efforts.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to complete heavy work assignments while remaining detailed oriented.

  • Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and can work in a face paced environment.

  • Must have a flexible schedule to be able to work overtime as required.

  • Must be able to communicate, in English effectively both in written and verbal form.

  • Knowledgeable with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Agile, or any other ERP system) a plus.

  • Ability to lift at 40lbs and have ability to constantly be standing for at least 6-8 hours during the day.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum Experience required: 3-5 years of previous materials experience or applicable experience required.

  • Due to contracts with the United States Government, the candidate must be either a US Citizen or Green card holder

Compensation

Employee Type:  Exception Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $50,000
Salary Maximum:  $60,000
Incentive:  No
