Job Title:  Junior Buyer/ Planner

AMETEK Finland is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as our Junior Buyer/ Planner at our Finland unit that currently locates at Espoo.

You as our Junior Buyer/ Planner will play a crucial role in being responsible for execution and development of daily material processes. This includes purchasing responsibilities and daily production planning. You will co-operate with internal and external partners mainly in Finland and with US colleagues. As our Junior Buyer/ Planner, you will make sure material processes are run correctly in ERP and the processes needed are up to date. The team around you will offer you the support and encouragement necessary for you to success.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Planning and buying supply for production materials to meet business targets and indirect material purchasing.

• Co-operate with US colleagues to plan production and supply chain the way that we have materials on correct site on correct time.

• Planning the material flow for local production and participating in daily production planning.

• Purchasing indirect material.

• Material process development to support growing production.

• Participate in process documentation.

• Work with a self-driven attitude concentrating on achieving delivery targets together with good process and product quality.

• Support the material receiving and shipping team.

• Working in close co-operation locally with Buyer/ Planner, team leads and leadership.

• You have an eye for details and a structured and disciplined working style.

• You enjoy working on tasks that require good manual dexterity.

• Ability to work co-operatively in a diverse team environment.

• Fluent language skills English and Finnish, both written and oral.

• Basic skills in using MS office.
